This is a google map, so to edit it you will have to have a google account.  https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount  If you have a problem getting an account then e-mail me  angela@fruitwildandfree.com  and I will send you an invitation. Once you have an account, go to the map via the map image link on the main page of this site. Please be careful while editing the map as you will have complete freedom to change it. Press the edit button to start. When finished don't forget to press done.As this is a map of the world, it is hopefully going to get to big for me to manage. Ideally I think that an area should have its own map. And so can be controlled by a local person who knows about the local fruit bushes and trees. Please make your own map and send me a link. I will then promote your map on this site. I will never use this site for advertising. I do pay to advertise this site sometimes, but I do not make any money out of it. Its only purpose is to use, value and share the wonderful wild resource that we have.

Once you have a google account, go to google maps and make sure you are signed in. Then go to my maps and click on Create a new map. Name your map after the area that you are in, you could add wild and free to that, it would give a sort of connection to all the maps. I would recommend that you make your map as open to editing as possible. Let any one edit it, also invite people to edit it and send links to it out. Keep a copy  map incase someone deletes something they shouldn’t.
